We recognised the problems
RapidDeploy was conceived and delivered as a framework to address the issues that frequently occurred when implementing WebSphere Application Server. This was extended to cover MQ and Portal Server and then later to include the entire WebSphere family covering Message Broker, Process Server and DataPower. And later, we extended this outside of the WebSphere products to cover WebLogic, Tomcat and jBoss.
And the solution keeps growing
We extended the technology to cover areas outside of the core middleware components adding the provision of database deployment and we continually build on the support for the core components and add additional application support. The technology is also now available as extensions to IBM's Rational Automation Framework solution deliverying support for IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM WebSphere Message Broker, Oracle WebLogic and RedHat JBoss.
